Here is a list of books I read (or am planning to read) during my spare time. Topics are generally about tech, leadership, personal development.

    In this book, the author presents how the sharing economy has been affecting our current economic world.
  • The Inevtitable: Understanding the 12 Technological Forces That Will Shape Our Future by Kevin Kelly.
    This book is about the 12 future technologies and applications that will be influencing our future.
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age by Dale Carnege.
    The book describes some suggestions on how to live peacefully with others, making them friends, and lead teams and groups successfully.
  • This is Real AI: 100 Real Implementations of Artificial Intelligence by Jacob Bergdahl.
    It is a very simple book, sort of AI for dummies, presenting a high-level overview of how some companies, in various industries, are employing AI solutions.
  • Mindset: Changing The Way You think To Fullfil Your Potential by Carol Dweck.
    It is a very interesting book, describing what it means to have a growth mindset, with examples of successful people in different fields such as sports and business.
  • How to Be Everything: A Guide for Those Who (Still) Don’t Know What They Want to Be When They Grow Up by Emilie Wapnick.
    It is a book for people who like doing many things and exploring different fields.
  • 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote for Chaos by Jordan B. Peterson.
    The book is about 12 rules that can be useful to grow personally, to have better relationships with others, and to help having a happier life.
  • Leading in Tough Times: Overcome Even the Greatest Challenges with Courage and Confidence by John C. Maxwell.
    The goal of this book is to give some suggestions on how to properly lead a team, especially in though times, facing the many challenges leadership brings.
  • DeFi: The Future of Finance by Campbell R. Harvey, Aswhin Ramachandran, Joey Santoro.
    The book presents the challenges Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is trying to solve and gives some information about the foundations of DeFi, some main functionalities and players, and its future.
  • Surrounded by Bad Bosses and Lazy Employees: Or, How to Deal with Idiots at Work by Thomas Erikson.
    In the book the author provides suggestions on how to improve the working environment and the relationship between employees and bosses, from both perspectives.
  • Post Corona: from Crisis to Opportunity by Scott Galloway
  • Crypto Currency: How Ddigital Money Could Transform Finance by Gian Volpicelly (currently reading)
  • AI Superpowers: China, Silicon Valley, and the New World Order by Kai Fu Lee.
    The book describes the current and future possible statee of AI with some considerations on the fight for power in the field between US, China, and the rest of the world.
  • Bubble or Revolution? The present and Future of Blockhain and Cryptocurrencies by Neel Mehta, Adi Agashe, Parth Detroja.
    It’s an interesting book written by ex employyes from Microsoft, Google, Meta which describes the volution of bitcoin and cryptos, with opinions from the authors about the possible future use of the technology.
  • The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. A book on the author’s perspectives on how to save money.
  • AI 2041 by Chen Qiufan and Kai-Fu Lee. The book is about the authors’ vision of the future world, and how AI will be used. It covers examples like computer vision and deepfakes, autonomous robots for house chores and for war, individualized edcuation, quantum computing etc. Each chaper is structured in two parts: a more fictional part, with fictional stories; a more technical part explaining how the technology in each chapter works.
  • Read, Write, Own: Building the Next Era of the Internet by Chris Dixon is about blockhain in general, with a high level overview of the technology and its usage, with explanation on how it relates to cryptocurrencies.
